Adult Male -  inflating wings after eclosing from pupa on June 25, 2007

Pupa  -The pupa stage lasted about 10 days.

Larva  - These fed as larvae for about 28 to 31 days.  The species hibernates as a last instar.  However, these were kept in 24x7 light and went straight to a pupa rather than hibernating.

Nest - Pyrgus communis build a nest by silking leaves together or by silking the edges of one leaf together.  These didn't nest together

Ova on May 17, 2007
