Both females nectared on a honey  water mixture.

LIFE HISTORY:
Ovum: Two females were ovipositing although #1 oviposited the majority of the ova.  #2 oviposited only about 14 to 15 per day.  #1 female oviposited 34 eggs in a cluster on the upperside of Cynoglossum officinale leaf 3:30 P.M. 18 July 2012 and continued laying on the under and upperside of leaves at ~40 per day for a total of ~ 200. Ova hatched in 7 days at 77 to 80 degrees  Fahrenheit.

Larva:  Hatched  26 July 2012.  Second Instar 31 July 2012 - 4 days.  Third instar  4 August 2012 - 10 days - 8 mm.
Fourth Instar - 14 August, 2012 - 12 days. Fifth Instar 26 August 2012
