Todd Stout located  what we think are larvae of the Hemileuca hera hera while our party was at the West Desert on 30 March 2017

We parked here before walking up the mountain to the south of the road
39°39'47" N   113°5'27" W    5298 ft
These are feeding on Sagebrush, Artemesia tridentata, changed daily and fresh cut plant every other day.  Also they are being put under a plant grow light for part of the day..

Which instar is unknown.  They have molted two times since March 30th as of 16 April 2017
