Also has 3 white spots.  The end of the wing is clear.  Abdomen and the top of the thorax  is pruinose blue.  The female has a brown body with dashed yellow side stripes.  The female wings are like the male's. They fly from April to October and prefer ponds, lakes and ditches Back to Top
