Also located in Clover Springs Campground by Johnson's Pass, Tooele County, Utah

Characteristics
Shrub grows to 10 feet tall, leaves about 2 inches long, the flowers are actually the small orange petals on the inside.  The showy part is the 5 yellow sepals. These were in bloom in April. This species is not thorny.
