This plant is blue/purple in other areas but white here. The variety is called alpinum
syn. Leafy Jacob's Ladder
Size: 3 feet tall. It has more than one stem (P. occidentale, western Jacobs ladder has only one),
Flowers:  5 white to blue petals,  five sepals,  five anthers with conspicuous yellow pollen,
Leaves:  pinnately lobed, Habitat:  canyons along streams or lakes.
