Description
L 11" WS 23". 
Adults , red eyes, juvenile, gold eyes - gray  back and  head - rufous barring on breast and belly - yellow bill with dark tip -  squared  tail is barred with narrow white tip. - long,  thin, unfeathered,  yellow legs - top of  head is rounder  than Cooper's Hawk.  Juvenile  back is dark brown with coarse brown streak on chest and belly and golden eyes.
