LIFE HISTORY:
Ovum:  8 days
Larva:  39 to 52 days
Pupa:  10 days
Adult: 
Broods:
Hibernation:  They overwinter as  fourth instars per "The Butterflies of North American"  James A. Scott
I kept them at about 75 F. and in light 24x7 and they all went through to adults.
Larval Host  Plant:  Smooth Brome -
Bromus inermis
Habitat: Woodlands, grassy places.  See Big Springs Hollow
