Female Callophrys gryneus Located at a turnout just before the turnout  to rest stop before Starvation Reservoir turnoff   Photo Details - ©Nicky Davis 1.  Adult "on the wing" at a turnoff before the rest stop before arriving at the Starvation Reservoir turnoff. 2.  Adult butterfly #2 offspring of the female located at Black Rock Canyon 3.  Adult butterfly #13 offspring of the female located at Black Rock Canyon Adult Female located nectaring on various flowers June 21, 2008,  at Black Rock Canyon, Tooele County, Utah.  She oviposited on Utah Juniper and the larvae hatched in about 6 days.  The larvae fed on Juniper about 23 days then changed into pupae.  After 11 or 12 days the adult butterflies eclosed.
