Steve M. Spomer located female 6 April 2012 - Table Rock Wildlife Management Area, Johnson County, Nebraska.
I received ova 14 April 2012 and they began hatching 15 April 2012.
Three larvae molted to second instar on 19 April.  One molted to second instar on 20 April.
On 22 April, three molted to third instar in the morning and one molted to third instar in the evening.
#1 Fourth Instar -  Molted to fourth instar on 25 April 2012
#2  Molted to fourth instar on 25 April 2012 at 9 A.M.
#1 formed pupa  3 May 2012 - 9 mm long


TIME SPENT AS:
Ova: under  five days
Larvae:  Fed for 15 to 17 days
Pupae:  10-12 days
Adults:  unknown

BROOD OR FLIGHT:  One flight per Opler's "Western Butterflies"


HOST PLANTS

Cercis canadensis - Red Bud Tree
They will feed on  buds, flowers  or  young leaves
