2008, .4 miles SW Bountiful Peak, west side of Wasatch Mountains,
Davis County, Utah
elevation 8900 feet
Ova
Oviposited August 15, 2008 and hatched in about five days.
Larvae
First Instar emerged July 20, 2008 ( 9 days as first
instar)
Molted to Second Instar July 29, 2008 ( 2-3 days as second instar)
Molted to Third Instar July 31, 2008 (3-4 days as third instar)
Molted to Fourth Instar August 3-4, 2008 - New fourth instars
were about 1/2" long
(3-4 days as fourth instar)
Walked off plant and went to prepupae August 7, 2008 changed from
blue-green to yellow (2 days as prepupae)-
Formed Pupae August 9-11, 2008 (~8 days as pupae)
Adult emerged after about 8 days.
