Larvae hibernated as third instar
Third instars were removed from hibernation on 29 March 2012 and set on potted
penstemon plants
Euphydryas should be kept in only 10-11 hours light per day and a cool environment.
Spray ~3 times daily until they start feeding.
Then put in new dry understory or paper towels.
Some molted to fourth instar on 7 April 2012 and began feeding

LIFE HISTORY:
