LIFE HISTORY:
Ovum:  5 days
Larva:  29 to 30 days between the day they hatched and the day they purged liquid and walked off plant to pupate.
Pupa: 
Some pupae developed and butterflies emerged  in the fall of 2010, others hibernated and emerged after bring them back out of the fridge in the first week of February 2012.
Adult:  unknown
Broods: 3 to 4
Hibernation: They  overwinter as  pupae
