DESCRIPTION
alexandra edwardsii has a slight pinkish  rim around the discal spot on the under hindwing that is lacking in the alexandra alexandra.  They have some pink in  the fringes, mostly on the underside.


LIFE HISTORY:
Ovum:  5 days
Larva:  19- 22 days
Pupa:  7 - 8 days
Adult:  unknown
Broods: 1 to 2
Hibernation:  Overwinter as  third instars
