Characteristics
Found
from foothills to sub-alpine. The flowering stem
as a height of up to 18 inches with a distinctive ring of leaflike
bracts halfway up. Several cream flowers in terminal clusters.
The leaves are up to 2 inches long mostly hairless on the top and wooly
underneath.
