Located
1. Goshen Canyon, Utah County, Utah
2. West of Utah Lake on  Utah State Road 68, mile marker 21, 4630 foot elevation,  This population was lost in a wildfire  in 2012.

Characteristics
Yellow flowers from April to June,  seed pods have reddish splotches,
 Plant grows about 1 1/2 feet tall

Other
Astragalus is from the Greek word for ankle bone, referring to the shape of seeds
Pronunciation: ass-TRA-gal-uss
