5 and 6, July 17, 2005 - Growing by the side of the creek in Big Cottonwood Canyon on road to Donut Falls, Salt Lake County, Utah
Description: Five yellow petals with black dots along the edge, buds tinged red, short opposite leaves in pairs, up to 2 feet tall growing in wet areas, non native from Europe, black dots on margins of the leaves, many stamen, 3 prominent styles.
