Heron's Bill, Filaree Non-native, noxious, prostrate plant from the Mediterraneun with generally basal leaves which are finely divided and hairy. The pink to lavender flowers have 5 separate petals 1/6 to 1/2 inch long. They have five styles that are fused together forming a column where the seeds grow. As the seeds mature the column separates into five parts that curl up when dry. The plant blooms from February to November Back to Top |
