DATE:  7 August 2013 GPS: N-  38.16.9, W- 112.28.44 ELEVATION: 7350 feet PHOTOS:  Located ova  on currant twigs in 2013. They were  oviposited both singly and small clusters at  Beaver Canyon.  They over wintered as ova. Some ova were taken out of hibernation on June 5, 2014 and larvae began emerging June 8, 2014.  Only 1 mm long the day they emerged.   The ones that emerged June 8, molted to second instar -  June 11, 2014 - 2 mm long molted to third instar  -  June 15, 2014 molted to fourth instar - June 20, 2014 These died at fourth instar using Alpine Prickly Currant as the host plant LIFE HISTORY: Ovum: Overwinter as ova - Larvae began to emerge 3 to 5 days after being taken out of hibernation.
